Mood

"Boulevard Of Broken Dreams"

I walk a lonely road
The only one that I have ever known
Don't know where it goes
But it's home to me and I walk alone

I walk this empty street
On the Boulevard of Broken Dreams
When the city sleeps
And I'm the only one and I walk alone

I walk alone
I walk alone
I walk alone
I walk a...

My shadow's the only one that walks beside me
My shallow heart's the only thing that's beating
Sometimes I wish someone out there will find me
'til then I walk alone

Ah-ah, ah-ah, ah-ah, aaah-ah,
Ah-ah, ah-ah, ah-ah

I'm walking down the line
That divides me somewhere in my mind
On the border line
Of the edge and where I walk alone

Read between the lines
What's *** up when everything's alright
Check my vital signs
To know I'm still alive and I walk alone

I walk alone
I walk alone
I walk alone
I walk a...

My shadow's the only one that walks beside me
My shallow heart's the only thing that's beating
Sometimes I wish someone out there will find me
'til then I walk alone

Ah-ah, ah-ah, ah-ah, aaah-ah
Ah-ah, ah-ah

I walk alone
I walk a...

I walk this empty street
On the Boulevard of Broken Dreams
When the city sleeps
And I'm the only one and I walk a...

My shadow's the only one that walks beside me
My shallow heart's the only thing that's beating
Sometimes I wish someone out there will find me
'til then I walk alone...

Minimalism

In the past I've occasionally come across minimal movie posters. Each time I did, I would usually hold my breath and marvel at the artist's ingenuity. Now, having explored design tools somewhat, I have rediscovered this minimal art form, and started employing it myself. This past weekend I made four separate FIVE posters (warning: they're not the best) and I hope to get much better at it! Here they are, what do you think? How can I improve?

Shocking Moment of My Day

*swaggers in* Soooooooo... I went to see John Carter of Mars today. When I arrived, an employee was standing in the theater, in front of the screen, explaining that we would not be seeing John Carter 3D, but instead a test screening of THE DARK KNIGHT RISES. I can't say anything about it other than...it was PHENOMENAL, and that Christopher Nolan is one of THE BEST directors out there. (Hans Zimmer also did a great job on the music) There was also a survey at the screening asking if they should convert the movie the 3D. (for the record, after seeing Clash of the Titans in 3D, I loathe post-conversion, so I said no) Go see it when it comes out on July 20th!!
