The Door Within Promo Video

I made a video promoting The Door Within by Wayne Thomas Batson.

Kingdom Keepers

This fantasy series by the same author as Peter and the Starcatchers uses the setting of Disney World. Five teens are selected to become DHI's (Disney Interactive Hosts or Daylight Hologram Imagings). They are filmed touring the park and the filming is put into a hologram, and used for tours. However, they were chosen for this for another reason. Disney characters are coming to life at night and no one can see them. They were chosen to become an attraction, an eye into the goings-on at night. Every time they sleep, they appear in the park in their holographic forms and are used to investigate the mystery behind all the mayhem.

Peter and the StarcatchersPeter and the Shadow ThievesPeter and the Secret of RundoonPeter and the Sword of Mercy

This series is about Peter Pan, but tells it in a slightly different fashion. The books, in order, are Peter and the Starcatchers, Peter and the Shadow Thieves, Peter and the Secret of Rundoon, and Peter and the Sword of Mercy, which came out this year. I highly recommend this series if you like fantasy, pirates, etc. If anyone wants more info, here is a website.

Blogs and book sites

If you want more info on any of these books, you can visit Christopher Hopper's blog, Wayne Thomas Batson's blog, or go to the Berinfell Prophecy website. Christopher Hopper's email is and Wayne Thomas Batson's email is

The Berinfell Prophecies

This series consists of two books, Curse of the Spider King (CotSK) and Venom and Song. (VaS) They are co-authored by Christopher Hopper and Wayne Thomas Batson. I own the first, and the second will be published summer 2010. They are about 7 teenagers who have powers, and elven Sentinels are tracking them down before dark assassins get to them to stop them from leading a rebellion on their real home.

Isle of Swords (1st) and Isle of Fire (2nd) are two pirate books by Wayne Thomas Batson. They are very interesting and well-written.

The Door Within trilogy

This christian fantasy fiction series by Wayne Thomas Batson consists of The Door Within (#1), Rise of the Wyrm Lord (#2), and The Final Storm. It portrays a world that is being plagued by a physical evil. It focuses a lot on our sin nature, and how to deal with it.

The White Lion Chronicles

I have read the first (Rise of the Dibor) and second book (The Lion Vrie) in this series, and plan to read the third (Athera's Dawn), which will be published in 2010. It is a christian fantasy fiction series where the world is at first without sin, but then is corrupted by an evil being, Morgui. It follows Luik and his friends throughout their quests to defeat him.

That first post...

To start off, I need opinions. Would you like me to write summaries of the books I read or not? Would you like me to tell which genre and my rating of 1-10? Would you like me to write reviews, or invite others to write reviews? Any other suggestions of features would be most welcome!
